MEET LISA

As a physical therapist with more than 20 years of experience in outpatient neurological and orthopedic care, I've spent my career helping people improve movement, function, and quality of life. I understand how reduced core engagement and poor posture can affect movement, health, appearance, and confidence.

As a mom of three, I've experienced these challenges personally and recognize how our bodies, movement habits, and daily routines can influence core engagement and posture. I believe in finding practical ways to support core engagement and posture awareness during everyday activities. Health and wellness are central to both my professional and personal life. As an avid runner and fitness enthusiast, I value movement not only for physical health, but also for the positive impact it has on mental, emotional, and overall well-being.

I'm passionate about helping people build strength, stability, and confidence from the inside out. My clinical experience and personal journey inspired me to pursue innovation beyond the clinic and develop AbZipper, a wearable in development designed to support core engagement and posture awareness during everyday movement.

I've developed a Phase I prototype and tested it with 19 people. I'm now beginning discussions about the next iteration: a Phase II prototype. A utility patent is pending. I'm grateful for the support and mentorship of MAGNET (the Manufacturing Advocacy and Growth Network) as I continue developing AbZipper.
